Annual Sports Meet - 2020

Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized an Annual Sport Meet -2020 on 6 th -7 th 2020 to encourage the students to showcase their abilities beyond the boundaries of textbook education. Students from first year to final year participated in sport meet with great enthusiasm and demonstrated their athletic abilities with unsurpassed finesse. The sports day began enthusiastically with a welcome speech by Dr.S.K.Srivastava ( NSS Coordinator ) . He motivated students and said sports propagate the spirit of sportsmanship and emphasize the importance of teamwork, spirit and harmony. Games organised in the sport meet were Athletics, Badminton, Football, Basketball, Chess, Volleyball, Javelin and Discuss Throw, Kabaddi and Kho- Kho. The students actively participated in both indoor and outdoor activities organised and demonstrated to all their strength and expertise. The ground was filled with cheer, gaiety and excitement as each event's results were announced. The winners of the various events were awarded with trophies, medals and certificates. The annual sports meet came to an end by delivering vote of thanks by the Dr. S. K. Srivastava.
